About My Work

Hello!

I enjoyed a busy May traveling out of state visiting family and friends in beautiful, relaxing South Carolina and very hot (but it’s a dry heat) Scottsdale, Arizona. Vacation is over and I will have lots of new things to report in the next Guidelines.

Believe What You See

I met a truly inspiring man at a speaking event I attended in May. His name is Ruben Gonzales, and he has competed in the winter Olympics three times. It was his childhood dream, although he was never an athlete in school and had never trained in any sport. Growing up he could think only of participating in the games, but he had no idea how. He collected anything that had to do with the Olympics and repeatedly visualized himself walking in the opening ceremony and running with the Olympic torch through the streets.

At the age of 21(!), he decided it was time to make his dream come true. Everyone thought he was crazy. He knew he had none of the athletic skills needed to compete and was already considered too old to start. He looked into all the various events available and came upon the luge. Ruben realized he could probably learn to lie back in a sled and speed down a hill at 80 miles an hour!

He was allowed to enter the competition, coached by one of the top luge trainers, only because he happened to be born in Argentina, a country that had never been represented in that sport. He went on to compete in three Olympic games, and was an amazing 38 yrs old in his last race. Ruben walked proudly in three opening ceremonies, was chosen to carry the torch through the streets, and was considered a perfect example of the true Olympic spirit. It had all come about just as he had dreamed.

I share this story with you because there no better example of the power of visualization and what the subconscious mind can create. Because the subconscious does not recognize the difference between what you are thinking and what is real, if you keep a picture in your mind of what you want to create in your life, your mind will actually bring that experience to you. Every time you allow yourself to picture a wanted outcome, it acts like a magnet to pull in your desired future.

When you visualize it is important to be clear about what you want, and take time each day to imagine your goal. If you keep the vision for yourself strong and consistent, events and people will start showing up in your life to support the outcome you desire.

This is not a new idea but it is hard for most of us to do because we are too busy, too lazy, or we just don't believe it can work. I would like to encourage you to visualize a desired outcome you would like in one area of your life for 30 days. It can be about your health, your love life, or the success of your business. Choose what is meaningful for you, as nothing is unimportant if it is something you truly desire. See how new things begin to show up and how you begin to feel better about the future.

This month of June, I will be doing my own visualization every day and I hope you will do it along with me. Let me know how it's going for you.

In my next newsletter, I will share more information on how to engage the power of your subconscious mind to create the change you want.

Until then, happy visions!

"I just wanted to let you know how thrilled I am with the results of tapping! [ed. -- She is referring to EFT, Emotional Freedom Technique, see my website] I have always been one of those people that could "hear" a piece of chocolate calling my name from across a crowded room. Quite literally, I had no self-control when it came to chocolate. About 8 weeks ago Virginia introduced me to tapping. A quick 15 minutes of tapping and repeating a reinforcing phrase and...AMAZING. I have totally lost my interest in chocolate. No kidding. Total lack of interest. If it hadn't been me who experienced it, I wouldn't believe it. Thank you Virginia!"

As a hypnotherapist I help my clients become aware of and listen to their inner voice. No matter what problem or difficulty you are struggling with, at the root of it is the way you see or feel yourself from the inside.

The benefits of hypnotherapy are far reaching and can have a great impact on your life. The subconscious mind creates the “subtext,” the emotion behind your thoughts, and it literally creates your life script.

The clients who come to me are aware that their inner thoughts create their life experience. Through the process of hypnotherapy you can discover the hidden intentions that have influenced you and enjoy a new sense of freedom.

If you desire to change your life to the way you want it to be, let's have a conversation. Give me a call 310 913-1777.
